Our Tiny Scholars’ Classroom focuses on nurturing scholars through positive adult-child interactions. We explore the five senses as well as develop Social/Emotional, Language/Communication, Cognitive/Problem Solving, and Physical/Movement development. We communicate with our families daily through Visual boards throughout the centers and online through Brightwheel .
Our Emerging Scholars’ Classroom focuses on allowing scholars to move around and explore as they are beginning to be aware of themselves and their surroundings. As they show independence and recognition, we assist them with recognizing their names, various objects, and follow one to two step directions. We explore the five senses as well as develop Social/Emotional, Language/Communication, Cognitive/Problem Solving, and Physical/Movement development. We communicate with our families daily through Visual boards throughout the centers and online through Brightwheel.
Our Young Scholars’ Classroom focuses on supporting scholars with exploring their independence. We assist with following three step directions, taking turns, sorting, as well as color and shape recognition. We explore the five senses as well as develop Social/Emotional, Language/Communication, Cognitive/Problem Solving, and Physical/Movement development. We communicate with our families daily through Visual boards throughout the centers and online through Brightwheel.
Our Mighty Scholars’ Classroom focuses on creating a learning environment geared to support learners as well as guide them toward self-sufficiency and independence. We build and provide scholars opportunities to develop self-direction, work cooperatively, and build skills to navigate through preschool, kindergarten, and beyond. Scholars will began to learn letter sounds which is a necessary foundational skill for emerging readers and writers. Through exploration and guided learning opportunities, scholars will embark on learning explorations in math, science, art, and technology. This will be done in addition to music and movement. Scholars learn through exploration of the five senses as well as develop Social/Emotional, Language/Communication, Cognitive/Problem Solving, and Physical/Movement development. We communicate with our families daily through Visual boards throughout the centers and online through Brightwheel.
Research shows Music Education helps the body and mind. Researchers believe exposing scholars to music early in development helps to teach scholars sounds and meanings of words. Dancing to music was found to help scholars build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. Music also helps strengthen memory skills.
